Here is link to AMI BIOS, i hope for some help, maybe mod of bios that will help fully run UEFI installation. I was trying before adding drivers to boot.wim of installation disc, but i will try again (looks like ACPI or AHCI problem?). I have ASUS Eee PC X101CH, with Intel Atom N2600 I want to install a 64bit OS, but the vendor disabled it
EeePC 1025C bios mod : 64-bits OS compatibility. For those who own a 1025C and wish to install a 64-bits OS on it, it seems possible (at your own risk), thanks to a bios mod available in this forum topic here Thread-REQUEST-Asus-eeepc-1025C.
1 +100 No experience with a EEEpc, but I will diagnose like a regular laptop. General power on but nothing loading, no beeps or anything else usually means faulty/currupt bios or hardware failure in general. Have you changed any hardware recently or tried flashing your bios?
[Jeremy] had an ASUS EEE PC 1000HE netbook on his hands which had succumbed to a corrupted BIOS. In most situations, people replace a motherboard when the BIOS is damaged beyond repair,
First insert the bootable pen drive to you Eee PC (Essential, make sure you do it before booting, otherwise it won't appear on the bios settings). Now enter the Bios setup by pressing Del (or F2 depending on your BIOS) Navigate to Boot device priority and make "USB Devices/External Device" your primary boot device. Save and Exit. Reboot.
